Lollapalooza - Red Hot Chili Peppers

The Red Hot Chili Peppers put on, by far, the best performance of Lollapalooza. I couldn't get a great shot of them, but I got some OK pics.

Lollapalooza - Performances

My Top 5 Performances:
1. Red Hot Chili Peppers
2. Manu Chao
3. Flaming Lips
4. Queens of the Stone Age
5. Gnarls Barkley

Here are some bands we saw.

Here's Perry Farrell introducing Gnarls Barkley.

This is Gnarls Barkley. That's Cee-Lo raising his hand and Danger Mouse behind the keys. There was also a string quartet to the right and three back-up singers to the left.

The Eels turned out to be better than I expected. Also, they had this guy we thought was security, but ended up playing instruments and doing karate everywhere.

This went on throughout the Flaming Lips. Also, Wayne descended from the heavens in a clear spaceball.

I couldn't get a decent picture of Manu Chao, but his performance was incredible.

Another attempt at Manu Chao. I like the colors.

Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age. Another great performance.

Lollapalooza - Friends and Stuff

Here are some pics from Lollapalooza.

This is what you see when you walk into Lollapalooza. Glorious, inflatable letters.

This is Buckingham Fountain. It's one of Chicago's greater monuments.

Ben and Linni posed like this.

Sometimes Bjorn thinks it's a good idea to wear three pairs of glasses. Looking back on it,I guess it was a pretty good idea.

Shootin from the hip. Mal was ready, Karina was not.

The sky was pretty gnarly.

It wouldn't quit.

New Blog

This is the new blog. Hopefully it will be a bunch of pictures, but who knows what it will turn into.
